Anointed Fingers

My name is Joseph C. David III. I come from a musical family. My father played drums and my mother sung for recording gospel artist' on Savoy record label. I started in band with the trombone being his first instrument. I started playing piano in public on August 15, 1985 when my father was in a revival and the musician for the week didn't come.  Since then I have played for or on stage with numerous gospel Artist and pastors such as Timothy Wright Kierra Sheard, F.C. Barnes Luther Barnes, Pete Everette and the Prodigal Sons, Bishop George Bloomer, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Bishop Larry Trotter, Harvey Watkins of the Canton Spirituals, The Bolton Brothers, Paul Porter of the Christianaires, Pastor Beverly Crawford and many others.  I obtained my bachelor's of arts degree from Unc Pembroke in piano. There i became a classical and jazz trained pianist.  I teache piano, organ, drums (percussion instruments) bass and lead guitar, all brass and woodwind instruments and voice.I am a composer, music producer,  music conductor/director and arranger and sound man.  I have conducted workshops and music sessions across the nation.  I am also the director of the Richmond Senior Gospel choir where I have served faithfully since 1998.  I have mentored and taught many students from the ages of four to 75 years old.  Teaching is one of my greatest passion.
